Privacy Policy
Effective 17 September 2026
DailyQuest.ai is designed to work without a traditional user account. This policy explains what information we use, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible
DailyQuest.ai is the controller of personal data processed through this service. You can contact us about privacy at support@dailyquest.ai.
Information kept on your device
We use your browser's local storage for essential game functions: a random player identifier and verification token, your callsign, scores, streak history, daily activity, brain results, sound choice, and companion display preferences. This lets the game remember you without an account. You can remove this information by clearing site data in your browser, although doing so resets local progress and your anonymous identity.
Leaderboard information
When you complete an eligible run, we send your random player identifier, callsign, score, readiness result, streak, completion time, and score date to our hosted database. Your callsign, score, readiness result, streak, rank, and country code may appear publicly on the leaderboard. Do not use your real name or other identifying information as your callsign if you do not want it displayed.
Technical and location data
Our hosting systems receive standard request information such as your IP address, browser details, timestamps, and requested pages for delivery, reliability, security, and abuse prevention. A two-letter country code may be derived from request headers and attached to a leaderboard entry for country rankings. We do not request precise GPS location.
Cookies & advertising
DailyQuest.ai displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to DailyQuest.ai or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to visitors based on their visit to DailyQuest.ai and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies by visiting www.aboutads.info.
Why we process information
Under the GDPR, we rely on performance of the service you request for game and leaderboard features, and our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure, reliable, fair, and improving error handling. Advertising cookies are used based on your consent where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and international processing
We use hosting, database, content-delivery, and error-reporting providers to operate DailyQuest.ai. They process information only to provide those services under appropriate contractual and security safeguards. Because these providers may operate internationally, data can be processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, approved contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Retention and security
Browser data remains until you clear it. Server-side leaderboard and technical data are kept only as long as reasonably needed to provide rankings, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; or withdraw consent where consent applies. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email us and include your callsign and anonymous player identifier if available so we can locate the correct record. We may need to verify that the request relates to you.
Children
DailyQuest.ai is a general-audience game and is not directed to children below the minimum digital-consent age in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who cannot legally provide consent. A parent or guardian can contact us to request deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or applicable law changes. We will publish the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the service where appropriate.
